Countdown to the 11th World Biomaterials Congress

Did you know… that it’s officially 9 weeks today until the World Biomaterials Congress opens its (virtual) doors?!

In what has been a turbulent year for all, we’re delighted to still be able to deliver the 11th Congress and are incredibly appreciative of your patience and support whilst we adapt the format to ensure we continue to deliver maximum value for the Biomaterials community.

Moving this year’s event virtual has also enabled us to provide this Community platform, as a means of knowledge-sharing, professional development & general networking in the run-up to-, during-, and after the Congress in December. Communities like this have proved to be a place of much support and connection, something which was drastically heightened throughout the course of the year so far, and so we’d greatly appreciate your assistance in growing this; please do share within your place of work and encourage colleagues to join the conversation today. The beauty of an Online Community that runs 24/7, 365 days a year is that even after the Congress comes to an end, it all carries on right here!

So once again we’d like to say thank-you for joining us, & if you have any questions, at any time, either about the virtual event platform or the community platform, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!

Many thanks!

Hear from a fantastic line-up of presenters and keynote speakers who will be delivering one of our special symposia on Materials Immunoengineering; a new field that aims at rational design of new therapies, new mechanistic studies for inflammatory diseases including autoimmune diseases, and improving vaccination by combining more targeted delivery of immunoregulatory molecules specifically through biomaterials.

The future of immunoengineering is bright – have a listen to the introductory video for a sneak-peek of what to expect from this session, then be sure to tune in 17:10 GMT Mon. 14th Dec. and 16:30 GMT Tues. 15th Dec. for the presentations in full >>> View the programme.
