Poly(ethyl acrylate), or as it’s also known as PEA.

Here is a quick, easy, and nutritious lunch time favourite! PEA SOUP :tea:

What you will need:

  • 30 mins to prep

  • 30 mins to cook

  • Chopping board

  • Knife

  • Measuring jug

  • Hand blender

  • Pot

  • Bowl and spoon!

Ingredients (serves 1-2):

1 tbsp olive oil

1 garlic clove, chopped

½ onion, chopped

200g frozen peas

300ml chicken stock (or vegetable stock)

50ml double cream

salt and black pepper

mint leaf, to garnish

Method:

  1. Heat the oil in a saucepan over a medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and fry for 3–4 minutes, until softened.

  2. Add the frozen peas and chicken or vegetable stock and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for ten minutes.

  3. Add the cream and use a hand blender to liquidise the soup.

  4. Season to taste and serve, garnish with a mint leaf.

ENJOY! (That is if you like pea soup.)
